Now Cena has also been announced for WWE Clash at the Paris , which will take place on August 31 at the Paris La Défense Arena . Cena is prominently featured on the first official poster for the event, alongside stars like Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Tiffany Stratton, Penta, CM Punk, and others.

In a recent interview, Ric Flair commented on Cody Rhodes' title defense. He stated that Cody should defeat Cena because he still has great momentum as champion. However, if Cena wins, he will surpass Flair in the list of most world championship titles —Cena will then have 17. Flair stated repeatedly, however, that he would leave that honor to his daughter, Charlotte Flair .

Flair added that he will not be present at WrestleMania as he is still under contract with AEW .
